Happy New Year!

 Yes! Can you believe we are on the 19th day of 2011?! Wow is all I can say!2010 was a good year, but I have a feeling..(did i just quote BEP's?) that 2011 is going to be an even Better year. Already spring has kicked off with some awesome awesome colors I'm loving the Navy, the neutrals, orange and plum @BananaRepublic also I have see home great dresses at Shabby Apple. Definitely start putting your spring wardrobe together...it seems the nice weather is here to stay in SD...at least for the moment being. The best thing is that Black & White continues to be a favorite through out this spring. So if you have any left over from the holiday...don't be afraid to pull it out and pair with a cute pencil skirt, some cropped skinny pants or jeans..or a mini all brought together with a colorful skinny belt to complete the outfit!

Freezing!

Last nights Holiday Bowl was a fun adventure with the siblings and brother in law, although it was colder than a dead body out there! Seriously....and I sweaar I saw a girl wearing tights shorts and a coat, you KNOW she was dying...I know you be trying to look good and all that...but not in 37 degree weather, at least for San Diego. I don't know how you do it in the East Coast.

Today we leave for the snow, how that will be bearable..I have no idea. I plan on layer everything I own!

This was yesterdays outfit...theres no one here at the office yet to take todaaaays! We will have to wait until 2011 to see it!! I'm looking forward to seeing some great stuff for tonight! What is everyone wearing? Let me guess...sequence? 

Winter...?

..Yeah...That was a whirlwind of months...as you will see in the following pics. A lot changed since my last post about fall. First of all, its winter now, two months have passed...I'm now single, been working my butt off...and will be heading out to Barcelona in a couple of months! Thats my current life in a nutshell. I've had a couple of styling projects that I have been exciiited about...

   Oh yeah...I also miss my Rapunzel hair, I blame it on an emotionally precipitated decision, that will have me dealing with the consequences for a couple more months until it decides to return back to me.

This has definitely been getting hard, and by hard I mean some pretty interesting outfits. Not necessarily in a good way..haha. I have definitely taken a spin on what is called basic and added a little something here and there...just to keep you on your toes. 

Although, I have come to realize that the more you dress others, the less your own attire becomes important. Its just  that thinking for others consumes most of your fashion energy per say..lol..deedle dee dum! I'm even considering going into the wedding business...like that saying "Those who can't Do , Teach.." Well for me it will be "those who can't Wed, Plan!"....I would love to claim rights to that saying...unfortunately, a very much in a bitter state of mind J.Lo said it in her movie The Wedding Planner...although she had a very much of a fairy tale ending...marrying a Doctor named Steve. Who does that anymore?! hehe...
As we move into this new year 2011...Dress Fabulously...Talk Positively...Give Generously...and you will Receive Abundantly!

Its Time to Fall for FALL...!!!!

Ok ok...so at first we have everyone complaining "where's summer where's summer?!?!" Now that it's apparently here (late, but nonetheless ) we are looking for Fall. Geesh...we are just as bipolar.


I'm excited....fall and winter happen to be my Favorite fashion seasons! Its all about scarfs, sweaters, trenches, coats, boots...layers,layers,layers!! Living in california gets a bit frustrating due to the fact that it's never too cold to wear a lot of layers wihtout looking a bit ridiculous.

This fall it's time to bring out the "lady" in us..not that we aren't already, but with these full length skirts that I go Crazy for its hard not too look the part. Paired with a cute cardigan and maybe some spiced up pumps, long skirts were never sexier! Leopard is all in the accessories, shoes, bags, belts, scarfs, bangles you name it. Do a cute dress or a skirt...stick to one item...don't over do it..then we Start looking like road kill.

Is there anything better than BROCADE?! All about the bronzes, metallics, copper and orange paired with a solid opaque top divine!

This fall is going to be bit challenging with my wardrobe...but what once was old is new again, take a look at your closet, and dig through the back of it, through those clothes that we haven't worn in years. You'd be surprise how much of it we can use today!
